Cheaper option is a kit available from most style/tuning shops i.e. smart car etc, so you take the lock barrel out and you get a blanking metal plate that sits flush where the key hole used to be. Still looks like a lock but there isnt really one there, save painting the whole door.

Does any1 know the MOT implications of having a bad bonnet? If it reduces the amount of light or alters the angle etc then ive heard it can be illegal. I know most MOT places prob would pass it but im just thinkin bout when you get a arsehole copper.....

If I were you mate, id just admit you were driving it, fill the form in send it back and see what they offer you. You might be lucky you might not but i doubt your gonna get away with it if you fight them. Have you already got points coz if its your first offence they may be lighter on you...

Crank case / oil breather, When I first fitted my K&N 57i to my 1.4 rt I fed the Crankcase breather pipe into the bottom of the air filter as instructed, I then went and bought one of those little fliters so It could breathe staright out instead of recircuilating it, giving cleaner intake air...

Nice, Strangest Ive done is a bat! Didnt know Id hit it but noticed somthing stuck in my single wiper the next morning on the way to work thort it was just a leaf or somthing so left it there. When it started to smear my screen after a few days it startde to piss me off so i went to pull it off...

Why is the megane conv. cheaper? coz it s a more common engine? How ez are they to fit? Are the megane engine mounts the same & how much does a megane engine & loom cost? How a bout fitting a clio rsi engine or a 1.8 rt engine (bit rare tho!)
