If I was you mate go for slightly older, something like 04/54 they seem to be a fair bit cheaper. Mine cost me £9500 on a late 05 but it is mint. Oh ive got a black one defo the best colour (when clean that is)

Ive just rang the dealer and told them what I found, and they said that the filter they fitted was within the quality guidelines.

What I was getting at is that when you buy a motor from a dealer you expect them to behave in a certain way, thats why you pay the premium! so why should I have to ask them to use gen parts. At the end of the day they fitted an inferior part and if something was to go wrong id probably end up...

They had the car for a week before i picked it up. Ive been in the trade now for 6 years and garages like Slaters give everyone a bad rep...Idiots. I wouldnt mind so much if id bought a crappy old shed but i spent nearly 10k...

They did the service, i know this because i checked the oil when i picked it up!! Do you think I should ring the dealer and make a complaint?

Cheers, ive only had the car a couple of months, what would you recommend as a first engine mod? Im an engine builder and tester by trade so the technical stuff aint a problem.
