I never knew Trophys with Recaro's held their value that well, just had a quick look on Autotrader and theres a few Trophys at £5k with the first decent looking R27 at £6.5, not bad.
My R27 has 2 cans of tyre gunk and a jack, not that I even checked when buying it tbh. Can't these be picked up on Ebay/from a scrappy?
Exhaust I would be slightly more concerned about as it's classified as an exhaust modification for Insurance purposes, If advertised as standard then they've...
You have Recaro's so I would assume you have cup pack?
Autotrader is showing about £7900 - £8900, however the gearbox job is a huge hindrance on price and I would say the part ex is actually pretty good.
Gearbox replace from Renault is around £2300 with a new clutch IIRC but would need to be...
Final Fantasy 7 for me was by far the best game I've ever played.
Call Of Duty MW and WaW also rank as 10's IMO, the COD4 Scene was huge for years and is still going strong. I've lost count of how many hundreds of hours I've played MW.
How much is "Cheap"?
I bought my F1 in July for £7k after driving a few 172/182's/197's, the 172/182 on sale at the time wern't great and the F1 spec was just incredible.
Really? I'm in a goodish postcode and at 23 they've been seriously noncompetitive for at least 2 years now, they're probably more suited to 25+.
Direct line and Elephent/Admiral/Bell as above where really good for my first few years compared to others around. They cover a lot more as standard...
My girlfriend just cancelled her insurance policy and they deducted the sum per day not per month, that's with Admiral IIRC.
I Insured my 197 with Sky and as he highlighted in the previous post, it was around £100 cheaper declared with all mods than it was standard with all other insurance...
I use Shell Vpower in my 197, there was a comparison of the top 3 fuel companies "High octane" which sold it for me. With a few pence difference per litre I don't even pay attention to cost anymore.

I've just read this from start to finish and completely agree, sounds like one hell of a hobby but you need some serious knowledge to keep it going.
Looks like you guys have made some serious progress over the last 2 years, can't wait to see what happens this season.
I'm 23 with 2 years NCB and a clean license and my R27 is £750 with all mods declared so your quote seems about right. Apparently it lowers considerably once you've owned + Driven the car for a year.
Try Skyinsurance/Greenlight although I think you might have to be 21 IIRC.
I can vouch for the Scorpion system like Stevo said, sounds incredible without being too loud/droney as I commute 30 miles a day. Don't even notice the flat spot anymore, just drive around it :race:
Quick search on autotrader and the cheapest 172 with sub 80k miles is £1489 so I'd probbaly take that if it's in really good condition. 1.2L 2003's with sub 80k seem to be about 500-800 mark.
It's not my car, just referencing a quote from another site. With rears + clock surround/gear gaiter/steering wheel they said around £1000.
Just had a look through a few more posts and fronts are about £650, fronts + Rears were £850 then the interior pack was £200ish. That was about a year ago...
I live over in Priestwood near Garth, commute to Taplow every day so don't drive around Bracknell much, you? Haven't seen a V6 around, seen an Albi and a Silver 1*2 though.
Lolol, I only bought an R27 because it was cheaper than re insuring my 1.6L Megane at the £900 most places wanted. Makes no sense at all.
Both my parents are on mine as I'm on both of theirs too, 4 people driving in our house and only 3 cars makes it convenient. £4200 is insane, sounds like...
The 1 thing I don't understand is that at 25, with all the money you're throwing at this, you could probably buy AND insure a mid range 1*2 surely? I'm 23 and I've got a R27 insured for under £600.
IIRC - I don't think Pass plus will make the slightest difference at your age, I didn't do mine...
People on 197.net have bought this when their flexi's have broken as it's cheaper than replacing/fixing them, don't take any notice of the BHP gains but as a unit everyone who has one rates it highly.
Passes emissions if you still have the other cat in place but you'll need a friendly MOT...
Flexis appear to be quite common but I've never seen that before, first call would be to check your engine mounts, not convinced that breaking is a manufacturer fault but could be worth ringing RUK if your mounts are okay.
