Hi All, Only had my car about 3 months and already the back breaks are jaming on in the mornings. I am assuming that salt from the roads has become traped inside them. Does anyone know of an easy way i.e without dismanteling the brakes to clean them out. Dave P.S. I love the salt...

When does a new dci need its first service??? I had 18k in my head but after seeing all this 12k talk i am starting to doubt my self. I thought 18k was a little on the high side in terms of break pad wear etc!!

That feeling of smoothness will be from the much (sh*ttier) spoungy suspension. Just try taking a corner fast though. I know what I prefer.............

If it is an import you might only get a 1 year warranty or have to pay to upgrade to a full 3yr 60000mile warranty. So in the end you will wnd up paying abou the same as the UK car.

my dad had a diesel 106 as a courtasy car once when his car was in for body work repair. We nicknamed hoppy as the desil fillter was f**ked it took about 1min30 to go from 0 - 30 now thats slow!!! And surprise surprise the dealer wouldnt change it. Boune bounce bounce

So would switching it on for say 20 mins each week and driving it around the car park a bit do the trick?

Nope no 3rd party on either insurance both under 25 :( the flat I live in has a carpark on private land which I could drive it around wont give it much of a run but better than nothing.

Make sure the dealer can def get you one. I was sold a 1.5dci extreme 3 then told oh sorry we cant actualy get you that car it is discontinued after I had paid for it and everything!!!!! Got a dynamique for the same price though with 800miles on the clock well happy :)

Her parents live in london we are in Scotland and it would cost about £300 to add me to her insurance as I am male 22 with 1 accident in the last 3 years :-( so not worth it especialy as I would only be driving it round the block once a week. Cheers though D

An oil question. What type of oil should I put in my dci1.5 I dont have a clue and the website below just confused me further. Whats it it to begin with synthetic or mineral based oil? and what grade...

I saw on the forum a while back a guy asking if hitting a cat, rabbit or some sort of small animal could have caused any damage to his car. I think the general consensus was that no way would a small animal cause any damage to a car. This was my view as well untill........ My mate called me...
