i usually just ride with a can of holts, it works i think this stuff will be the same and whatever you use you have to check the pressure asap anyway so go with the cheapest, and 1 can is usually enough but carrying 2 wont hurt
good save bro
kerry - Yeah I was thinking doing the seats would be a waste as it would just rub onto clothes etc and wear down constantly, unless it is really that good at its job."
darn, il get saving then!
ah see, well as said carpet wise a new one is pob the way to go, as for the doorcards though just go for it, especially with a spare set.
i came across fabric paint a while ago and thought about doing the edges of the front seats blue with it but have decided against it as i reckon on surface...
hey, cant directly answer cause havent tried fabric paint, but worked as a car valeter for a while so wondered why your looking to paint? would a pro clean do the job?
if not then id say give it a go, if its this or a retrim then it wont do any harm? let us know lol
i did when doing mine, the belt just comes by itself and is cheap and i reckon worth doing whilst your down there anyway, if i remember rightly it has to come at least halfway off to access timing belt anyhow, but theres no harm in not doing it if you want to recuperate the cost of that timing...
as said there are guides, i think youl find some you can access if you search, i havent done it as my lights are fly-eyed but i think what you basically do is use some very fine sand paper on them then a resin polish, but theres possibly more to it then that and you could make a mess of them so...

ye i suppose maybe overkill on the clio, i had them on my 270 brake LCR they were ace, but thats a heavier car, im an even freak so with grooves up front id have to have them on the rear
brembo pads maybe? personally id go with ferodo ds2500's
performance wise i wouldnt worry about the back if its for fast road occasional track, but looks wise id get vented for the rears also so it all matches up, ebay is always worth a look because it wouldnt need to be top notch on the rear...
buying from a motor factors isnt a cheap alternative but the same kit without the renault price tag, anyway your car and cash lol
what engine do you have? is it a sport? if so its twin cam and the blanking plates are a must as they need to be removed to fit a cam locking tool for changing the...
is your car the twin cam? if so your missing the cam blanking plates/plug things.
they are 2 black cap looking things one bigger then the other that go on the opposite side of the engine from the belt.
out of curiousity what did renault charge for the kit? i got my factors one for about 70...
on some cars switching the standard box to proper enclosed induction kit can give you decent gains, open filter on any car is a bit pants performance wise but ye sounds good,
as for drilling the box, you haters, iv done it and it sounds ace with no noticable loss in power, drilled just a few...
not really a stupid question, as theres limited info, id post and ask on the guys thread as hel know?
id guess they are not road legal as he says competition as opposed to competition/road legal or road/track
belt kit i would get from the factors, usually its the same as oem just rebranded, something like dayco is fine, cant help with the mounts havent got there myself yet

should look something like this
this is one from an ff and has more writing, the cup one has an identical layout but is 4x22 watts instead of the higher spec ff's 4x40 watts.
im not certain on the above figures someone can maybe verify/correct
