just checked my old email, it was actually for 7.50 from http://www.dndservices.co.uk/ i looked at radio-codes but decided not to use them and went with DND, though i cant remember why now
lol ye i might just brave it regardless on sunday :S
anyway on the earlier point about legals i found this which gives a pretty defintive answer http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1989/1796/schedule/15/made to the law on colours for the plate light, think i might chsnce the red anyway but will...
+1 on Dm's post, also-
you can easily get the code for a standard radio, just type in radio codes in google and youl get plenty sites, i got mine for something like 15-20 quid, you need the numbers off the side of the radio.
there was a guy who did it on here quite cheaply and the money i...
first 2 both fit, the number plate bulb is essentially a stubby tail light, single filiment.
sc03ott mate if i wanted them your right i would buy them, iv used semi angel eyes as a rough descript of the twin sidelighting thing i mean, lousy description i know, basically all im thinking of doing...

i think it might be one of those things that are obscure enough that most officers might not be right on it, im playing it safe though have ordered red and white and plan to keep the white in the car just in case
dont know if this is still a question for you but im thinking about the number plate light too, iv spent a while google searching and i havent come accross anything to say colours are illegal, and found this which states that any colour is OK (but im not sure)...
good morning brunette! lol + 1 on the mytyres iv always found them cheap and fast, also id personally go for uniroyal rainsport 2's, used them on a beemer my previos 172 cup and my 280 horse leon and cant fault them, il be putting them on this clio when its time to change
ye but not till after the weekend am away from home just now. Its pretty easy anyway if you look in the airbox youl see loads of little fins. They absorb a fair bit of noise and getting rid of them gives a nicer induction sound. And if you want more noise still you can drill a few holes in the...
iv heard of a few people that have done this (pulled the CAF pipe out) cant comment on that myself as what iv done is drilled and smoothed the standard airbox which gives you better induction noise, add a panel filter too and get slightly more (like me) sounds frickin awesome
cant help much with the code mate, it will be stamped on the engine somewhere but maybe someone else will know,
my first guess for the sticky out thing was aircon recharge pipe, but that wouldnt go to the gearbox, maybe its happy to see you? lol sorry i cant help bud
hey mate, if i was you id head on down to the scrappers and get one, youl be looking at something more like fifty quid i would guesstimate, the easiest way to get a match would be to get an alternator off the same make/model as yours though other renaults may fit, the scrap man will often know...
id say stick with the standard box, it seems to be the best performer from what iv read, if you want nice noise you can pop a better panel filter in and smooth and drill the airbox, have done this with mine and it sounds much better and only costs you the panel
er, dont knock it till youv tried it? lmao!
john that is f'n hilarious, i never actually met someone that did it, defo a bit of positive peer pressure there lol
according to the manufacturer it doesnt adversly affect the light output but i would take that with a pinch of salt, looking at the lights when they are on they seem to be just as bright, but i will need to go for a couple of night drives to decide, from last night i think the headlights dont...
here is the car with flyeyes,
1 light done for comparison
front headlights and fogs flyeyed
closer fron pic
and the rear
a close up of one of the rear lights, for anyone unfamiliar with flyeyes its basically a honeycomb mesh
please ignore the mess of the car she is crying for a wash...
lol no its not just you mate, i think the first all over spray looked a bit chav which is why i redid it, i was happy in the end but its not to everyones taste, for getting pulled over there are legals you can stick to, for rear lights its something like 50 percent of all lights must show and...
hey guys, after a couple of years in a leon cupra r and a beemer iv decided to go back to my first sporty car, the mighty 172 cup, anyway i was looking on here for pics of tinted rear lights and came accross loads of posts of people asking how easy/hard it is to tint lights with spray so i...
