Right chaps,
I thought I'd ask the wise sages on here their viewpoint on my PC setup at the minute. I've got two GTX460's in SLi that are admittedly a bit long in the tooth now, but still perform admirably in most things. I also came across a Quadro FX580 earlier this week via a friend, simply...
I've never liked COD online and I doubt my view will change much. But I had a quick go on BLOPS earlier, and joined the lowest-pinged, populated server on a Hardcore TDM game.
In I go with little more than an M16 and quickly nail an enemy I spot as I round the corner. Then I get messaged like...
Might be a repost, but I think these are an awesome idea - especially to counteract the lack or respect/intelligence that's prevalent in today's car parks.

Chaps,
Apologies for the long post, but I'd welcome your thoughts on the following.
I had an incident tonight driving home from work. Noticed that on starting the car (despite me having been out in it at lunchtime) - that all the electricals were 'sluggish' in some way. The dashboard clock...
Chaps,
I thought I'd run this one by the wise-old sages of CS as I'm making a simple issue, quite complex!
We currently run a Windows 2008 domain with a rough 50/50 split between Windows XP and Windows 7 clients. A good chunk of these are laptops and we're asked every now and then to setup a...
Chaps,
I don't look into the apps on the the App Store as much as I should really. Would anyone have any suggestions for a shared calendar app that I could install on my iPhone and my girlfriends iPhone too?
At the minute - we're loosing track of what we're doing and when - lol!
Cheers,
D.
Not sure how long the Beta's been out, but I signed up the other day and downloaded it this morning....

It's riddled with the 'season pass' mentality that devs seem to lap up these days - but for a Beta, the game is showing a LOT of promise. I have concerns that Premium...
At first, I thought it was a one off. Then, I thought I might just be a bit unlucky. But increasingly, the rather superb XCOM : Enemy Unknown appears to be crippled with a rather ludicrous and frustrating hit detection system. Some screenies I've taken in the last few rounds....
45% chance...
Chaps,
I would appreciate just some intro level discussion about the Cisco 2500 series wireless controller and using that with Cisco access points.
Basically, I'm looking into setting one up in a large property, with a Cisco access point being located in most of the rooms. I think the 15...
Just as a heads-up for people who might be interested? In particular those who would want to tether it to their Blackberry phone.

Picked up one yesterday and it's pretty much bang on for what I need...
Swapped the bulb out with a new one, but still no joy. I'll try cleaning the connectors when I get home with a little wire brush.
Any other suggestions I could try?
Cheers,
D.
Just curious really. I reformatted the PC on Tuesday night and in the process of putting stuff back on, I was wondering what the largest install size is that you've come across, recently?
I reinstalled Shogun 2 and that tipped the scales at 26GB - even though I haven't got all of the DLCs for...
'03 silver 172 yesterday and an RB 182 heading up towards Sainsburys earlier this afternoon. Also spotted an 182 Baked Bean on the A515 on the way down here yesterday, near Pomeroy (sp?)

Chaps - which ones do you rate out there for build quality and for ease of termination? We've never really standardised a patch panel when rolling out our depots and literally just pickup the nearest and cheapest.
However, with last weeks' abortion at our new Liverpool depot and ensuing...
....joined the M60 heading up the M66 and was behind me. Would have been around 7.30ish this morning.
Looked standard apart from a carbon/black bonnet diamond.

Blue one pulled off towards Lymn and the white one carried on past us, coming back from Cholmondeley.
Both '59 plates - but I didn't spot any stickers though.
