Really? I personally think the chrome looks tatty and cheap, the matte black makes it look subtle and not so much in your face. Can't really say it looks like a poverty spec interior with the nav :p

Thanks guys I just got the wrap and went for it, didn't look for any guides etc, next time I will try the hairdryer. Got a lot left so may do the chrome bit on the boot and see if I have enough left for the interior etc. Does anyone have any experience of taking the Speedo and rev counter rings out?

I think the bubbles came because of the way we tried to fold it over and do the inside of the rings, not sure if we should have used two separate pieces on each ring instead of one.

Bought some matte black vinyl off the bay and it got delivered today so me and my girlfriend (who did most of the work) went about wrapping the inside chrome rings in the cooper. Only got the center done today as i cannot seem to work out how the speed dials come off. Not bad for a first attempt...

I personally don't like the wheels because they look to small. the rest of the car is actually nice, but with the M badge, its the same as putting a sport badge on the back of a 1.6 clio with a 172 kit on it. But apart From that just have fun driving it. That is the main.

I think it rubs on the plastics of the ph2 I haven't got a clue with the ph1. Wests Renault on here put one in his dci 172 rep iirc.

yeah its growing on me, only problem is the splitter just behind the bumper rubs everywhere, not actually doing any damage but still sounds bad and especially when I rub on a speed bump and everyone just stares at you. ride isnt too much 'crashier' than before either.

i think they are the 15" ph2 dynamique alloys, the same as the 172 but an inch smaller.

In the cooper I average about 28, but when cruising on the montorway I can get about 36mpg... Which isn't too bad, the supercharger just HATES short journeys.
