I used to average 39.8 in my 1.6 clio, but got it up to 46.something on a long run once, which i was well chuffed with.
My GTI now, thats a different story. Have had it as high as 39.7 on a long run, but that included drafting lorries etc. Coversley, I have had it as low as 16mpg, on a 35...
The Ph1 is weird, as the line of the front bumper, infront of the wheel, follows a different path on the two pictures of it. Or is it just the angle?
PH2 looks good though.
Best kept secret in mototring? Wow, I knew diesels generally gave better mpg, but i was expecting 60-70mpg. If I knew you could get 259mpg out of a dci, i would never have bought a different car. ;)
Great pics. I love the view of the back of the car, with the mountains in the background.
I think the pictures with both cars in, highlight the need for a spoiler of some kind on the black one though.
Looks and sounds awesome mate. Cyclones look the dogs on 106s imo so ignore the haters. Its funny how on here its the turini/silvervisons brigade, and even people on here think there is only one way to mod a 106.
Mod it how you like. You are obvisouly proud of it and I think it looks ace.
I like my Poppy Coral Air Freshner, but the very limited range of scents available is a bit of a limiting factor.
What I am thinking of doing is making some custom refills, that fit in the empty scent container (the plastic refill that clips inside).
I am thinking of doing a few various...
I had this problem and it used to bug the hell out of me for ages. It was the girlfriend, whining because she didnt want to go that way because it was winding roads.
On a more serious note, sounds like possibly wheel bearing related. When mine went, it started by only making a noise when...
Tbh, I dont think you will notice much of an improvement over srp and then egp. A lot of people use them for very good reason, and they are excellent value.
I would be tempted to try srp then use AG HD wax, as that is pretty hard wearing too...
Looks in good nick, and am sure its a nice example to drive and everything else, BUT
I could never own one as I just couldnt bare to sit in that awful interior for longer than 5 seconds. iHate the interior with a passion, the dials, centre console, door cards are all hideous i think.
ABS ring. Its the toothed ring that the abs sensor points at.
When one of mine developed a crack, abs would kick in all the time when braking.
Not sure if its available as replacment part for the 1.2 or not. I know when mine went on my 1.6 it ws new driveshaft time, as although you can buy...
I had mine on the pug replaced becasue of that. It hazed light very badly in the dark, so was hazardous. Autoglass looked at it, and agreed it was dangerous. Replaced through my windscreen excess.
I think you could quite easily make the argument with the insurance company that havinh it...
Nah that is a proper RS clio, doubt someone got it sprayed Cyclone blue if thats what your thinking, looks racing blue to me, just a bit washed out in the photo
Lights are massive. would it be possible to fab something from fibreglass to fit that is in line with bottom edge of the front wing and covers some of the light, e.g
excuse the crap mspaint job
I think he meant that the iphone will fly out of the tray easily, not that it wont stay connected to the lead. If it eill fly out, you don't want to be relying on the connected lead to hold it, as that will strain the connection.
If they didnt get your permission to fix the offending things, you dont have to pay, simple as that. And they can return it to standard, and you can get it all fixed where you want. Then get a retest.
Oh and the fact that bumper has only been on a week, doesnt mean water couldnt have been...
lol, no wories dude. Have been toying with the idea on my 6, but am too lazy to remove the backing of the standard dials. Plus, i have priorities with fixing my left hand window regulator at the moment, which is going be a ball ache me-thinks.
To help even out the bright spots, you could get some diffuser paper such as this from Metal Monkeys Dials

It does 'come' with those options, you just have to switch them on as JD has done.
Loving the car, alwasy liked S3s. With the wheels like the one pictured, yours will be sweet JD.
