dont get trilocks, they arethe one with just three holes in the middle. i had them and the adaptor snapped, then i gota new one and that snapped too!!

spent a coupla hour this morning playing around trying to get it to turn over. went to a breakears picked up a brand new startermoterfor 25 quid + i got some money of cos i know the guy who owns it. new starter moternow it works, just sounds a bit wierd

the weather has cleared up so im gonna try now.

we tried push starting erlier it started, splutered then died within 10 seconds. all the lectrics work. cheers for the help

i conected the lead to the bat- and the other end to just behind the gearbox. it made the same click and then a different noise which i can only discribe as robotic, like when a cd is loading????????

i checked the fuses but nothing.

ive takin the plugs out and there was moister that smelt like petrol on them it was clear moister. that did not work i checked bat and hit the starter. still no go i am gonna try the dizzy cap when it stops raining. what else?? could this be the head gasket?

yeah but wouldnt the engine still turn over if it were.

thats what i considering. i think the starter motor has gone because it wont even turn over. whats the cheapist i can pic up a 5 or 1.4rt engine up. if i can get one cheap enough i wil put it in next week.

i just flushed the cooling system and realised i ran outof anti freeze so i went to the shop and left my bonnet open, when i was at the shop it rained. the engine is soaked and when i tried to start it it spluttered exhaust popped and died then triend again loud bang from the under the air...

anyone else expirienced this???
