Its a motor factor one tbh and it was fine before splitting it today. It also came out without too much bother, so I wasnt wacking it etc. I guess it has had a hard 12months, with a couple of track days, a trip round Germany including the 'Ring lol :o
Im pretty sure my top mounts havent ever...
Hmmmm, I have had a look but will investigate further in the morning ;)
The bottom ball joint is only about 1 year old and the track rods are definately in and tight up against the rack, I had a think and "stepped" spanner so space wasnt too much of an issue :) but I know what you're saying lol...
Ok, so the plan was to replace the track rods, track rod ends and wishbones today so got all the parts Friday and cracked on this morning.....
First started the drivers side.....undid the TRE, undid the rod on the rack end with a 32mm spanner :)
Next, undid the anti roll bar link on the...
Re: Our ring and spa report (3 TF days, 1 trackday at ring, 1 trackday at spa) Pics/V
Great write up!! Also, really liking the "dusky low light" pics at the Ring :) I must go again next year!
I have these on mine (as Scott said) and tbh I havent got a bad word to say about them. Had them on for the Ring trip, a track day at Snetterton a few months back with both dry and very wet conditions and they performed very well, I personally think they're very good in the wet :)
They will go...
Basically I've got the (fairly common it seems) clicking noise coming from my steering when manouvering at low speed and has seemed to have gone a bit vague and wanders around a bit, especially when accelerating quite hard. Its been like it a couple of months now but SEEMS to be getting worse...
In short, my g/f's, sister's hubby has some friends in high places which his company does work for, and was lent the Aston for the weekend while the boss was away :)
So I just HAD to have a ride in it :)
Lol, driving an Escort Cossie isnt a bad thing though!! Just goes to show how the other...
Well after many many years of loving Aston's since I was a teenager, I had the opportunity to be a passenger in a V12 Vantage today :approve: :D
Its the fastest car I've ever had the pleasure of being in (I know its not a Veyron) but its still an amazing bit of kit and the noise.....OH THE...
Flol......I took the same pic when me and my mate went in May
Lost of those pics bring back the memories from our E.O.E trip, we also went to Stuttgart to the Merc & Porsche museum, some lovely cars in both!!! Cant wait to do the 'Ring trip again next year

Nice pics guys, sorry I couldn't make it been working on the truck instead of the plan of driving it!
s**t. That's not good for Rhys, I gather he's ok? Looks like a moose rather than a deer :O
Thats MINT, makes it look aqua-FRESH :quiet::cool:.....I'll get my coat...
But no really, they've definatley come up nicely, I should really do mine again after my last 1/2 arsed attempt :) Good effort!
Cup spoiler makes Monaco's looks so much better (well tbh, most RS's lol) Fitted one to mine not so long ago and now seeing it with a standard one in pics makes it look naked!!
Where does it say you get a 98ron map free? I cant see it :o
If that is the case then surely the price is 199 Euro's for a standard RStuner without the EOBD II module? Which is about £155......So how are you having to pay £180~ if the map is free?? Confused.com
If u jack the car up and look under where the gear lever would be inside, there will be a rod going to the front of the car, to the bottom of the gearbox.
There is 1 bolt that connects the 2 parts together....its basically a bit of trial and error of adjusting it by small amounts and nipping...
