I kinda held off doing some of the outposts on the south island for this reason, but I've done them now! You still get random groups of enemies around though ;)
It's very hard to put down when you get into it and get a few weapons and skills etc
That makes you Piggie! :approve: lol
Loving this game, been playing over 22hours now, done all the missions but now just going through all the extra stuff and just generally pi$$ing about :) You can get "lost" so easily just experimenting and exploring places, its easy to kill a couple of hours...
I meant Mk1 as in Valvers and Williams, so no the correct ones arent listed with that seller but I guess O.P. has the right ones judging from the pics!
Strange you're having such big problems, I did mine a couple of months back using just a viscous fan spanner, not even cut down and some grips on the rack to minimize strain on it and they undid pretty easy.
Have you had any luck with them yet? Heating should do the trick though :)
Thats a good idea actually, when I get a chance and its dry(er) I'll have a look.
As above, where can I get them as internet searches dont come up with much
They've both been done very recently, but it felt similar before them being done anyway, so I've kind of ruled it out for now. Doesnt seem to be getting any better though!
It wasnt meant to come accross as narrow minded, I completely get what you're saying. But its not always the case in that respect, some people just cant be arsed, putting it bluntly ;). And Average Joe cant earn £2k in a weekend :( Me included
I've never had any proper tutoring, just picked things up from an early age, starting with basics like changing oil, brake pads etc and basically trying new things, getting more involved and more difficult as I go :)
Im not great with complex electrics mind but, basic stuff is doable
Cheque book racers = :quiet: Thats just my personal opinion!
I dont know why more people dont learn to work on their cars themselves rather than take it somewhere for even the smallest of jobs. I can understand major operations though for alot of people are very daunting.

Little update:
It seems to pull to the right when on throttle whether its 30mph or 70mph and lifting off, brings it back straight again. Also when braking hard it tends to want to go left sooooo?
It doesnt feel like play in the steering (rack, rods and ends) as if you wiggle the wheel it...
The anti roll bar can make it worse as if you've just jacked up the one side, its fighting against it the whole time as its trying to push the wishbone you're working on, up! Undoing the link on the wishbone and/or lifting the other side seems to help I find :)
Marco, I fitted the parts myself so I know they're on correctly and then took it for tracking a few days later. Then back again after the track day had been and gone
I did wonder about the rack bushes too, but its hard to see them with the car fully on the ground and I don't have access to a...
It's hard to describe without hearing it, but it only ever does it when moving very slow or at standstill. Plus the moviwhen at full lock and reversing a bit quickly.
I'll have to look into it. It must me related to that clicky noise when steering lock to lock when hardly moving, plus it only happens when the car is fully on the wheels. If I jack it even a little bit, it doesn't make the noise. Hmmm solid mounts are the same price ish as standard...
Oh and they did check and adjust it with the wheels on the ground as he wanted me to hold steering wheel straight to avoid me saying it wasn't later on.
Sorry yes it did move after the track day, I worded it wrong. But still it shouldn't throw it out that much. The last time I did it it went...
No its the opposite, the n/s had the high number. What made you suggest it was the other way?
Im not sure what keeps making it go out, whether its something moving or what?
It never felt "right" before, I took it, after I took and still doesnt now. It pulls around way too much on the road, its...
Basically a month or so ago, I replaced my track rods, track rod ends, both bottom ball joints and had the tracking set up to parallel toe, and 1.5 degs negative camber, by a local pretty renowned company ;)
Upon leaving the place (no it wasnt a kwik fit etc) I noticed at motorway speeds it was...
