There are scrap yards over here, but a car like this would be rebuilt, whatever had happened to it. Renault left Mexico years ago and only just started again a few years ago. The only cars you find in a scrap yard are about 20 years old.

I get about 210 to a tank when I'm thrashing it. The instantaneous consumption on the computer increases dramatically when you're doing 130mph.

You lot need to move to Mexico. I paid £9.5k for my 172 brand new at the end of 2004. I could have got a 182 even cheaper, but it didn't have the leather seats, xenon lamps or climate control (just standard A/C) and the boot is full of spare tyre. Petrol is only 35p a litre too.
