Can't be arsed to go back to Clart's post to quote it but basically why should someone EVER be rewarded for wasting their life on a console to that extent? Surely this could partially be blamed for the culture that exists currently of fat, lazy teenagers/20 year olds because they HAVE to have...
Yeah - definitely think that whilst the achievements are worthwile, rewarding people with weapons and benefits that make the game easier is stupid. Just give them a badge or something, 'You got 20 headshots, have a badge' rather than 'You got 20 headshots, now have this scope that means you can...
Nah, something's not right. 'Minor repair to the rear quarter' is £1k-2k at an expensive bodyshop in my books. For it to have been sufficient to be a Cat D there's more to this tale...
That's the whole problem, games that focus around devoting your life to it. I can sort of understand why they do it, as unemployed Americans will spend 20 of 24 hours on it trying to be the best. However for 90% it ruins the experience as they never rack up the hours to get the 'rewards' that...
I vote 172/182, I think it'll age better than the 197 and I think it's more of a toy. The 197 tried to be more usable and in doing so made it less 'fun'. All IMO.
Yes, but it's much more difficult with nothing than it is with the tools you get when you prove you're half decent! Surely that's backwards? Surely it should get harder as you demonstrate that you're better at it?
I disagree - you can do about average. You've got to remember there are people out there with that heartbeat monitor s**t that can see you coming even when they can't, and when you're wandering around thinking you can slash someone round the corner that you saw a second ago from a different...
BTB if it's within budget but it's most expensive, Yozza would be my preference I think because whilst the BTB is exquisite, it's definitely OTT for a £5000-6000 car now! (Unless you get it at a reasonable rate)
Y'see, that's what I'm on about. Everyone in the same or similar car = a lot of online fun and having a hoot. Playing MW2 now online is hard work because you're seconds from throwing your controller at the TV because some fat American kid who calls everyone '**n-bomb**' is walking around like he's...
Definitely, nobody likes their experience of online gaming to be getting walked over! Battlefield just about got it bang on IMO - the new guns weren't that much better that you couldn't kick arse with the free ones, and was definitely more about picking up tactics than wandering around with a...
There's nothing against that, but why enter races 'knowing' you'll win? Surely that's no fun at all? I'd rather have argey-bargey all the way round the track than waltz off and lap someone every 10 seconds.
True - however there's only so much that can be done to account for car choice and people choosing/having access to the right car and they're certainly closer to an ideal than Call of Duty.
It's why now I only really go on to play with work colleagues and the likes, as like me, they play...
Online gaming should be a level playing field. Fair enough give people 'achievements' but unlock all the weapons from the get-up. Like Forza, at least you've got a load of stock motors to choose from in every category up to R1.
I think it's difficult to say what the best cam is for your car without knowing you and how you drive, because all those pretty numbers mean a great many things! And at the same time (as has been demonstrated above) nothing. Speak to a specialist (sideways danny/Fred/JMS/anyone local in Italy...
I'm not a massive fan of the carbon fibre on the outside, but it's not offensive! Inside, it looks fairly good and can't be any worse than the cheap plastic that was!
