Demon tweeks wants £35 inc vat so why do the prices differ so much

Air filter / Air box mods 172, i had a mk1 golf gti many moons ago
and with the standard air box someone suggested to put a few large circle shaped holes to allow more air to get in
do you think this would work on the 172 with a uprated pannel filter
iam talking about a couple of holes not...
it looks wicked i found a web site that shows everything about the car
colour, etc, also found the company that imports them you can have a race spec one with eveything stripped out and then buy the road package

v-tec dude it does look a bit on the wrong side if your car is standard,
and the cup is loaded to the eye balls, and also like someone said if you took half of your cars extras off
and you upgraded the type-r then you would have a rocketship in your hands

my rear shocks have started to leak but that is also booked in and i managed to fiddle it under warranty
which is nice
but apart from that eveythings cool i have a set of clio cup alloys on the car
with conti tyres which seem to be going down quite quick
wait until it has more miles on it then you will tell the difference

i bought the car on 29k and i have had it a year now so i think iam on average miles...
172 performance better with age
mine has 39k on the clock and seems to go lot better, i thought it was a myth when people say the engines get better with age
it pulls like a pit bull now, loads and people say oh thats high mileage 39k
but i look at it this way
0-10k engine is brand new and...
checked with the renault chaps and they use 10-40w as standard
its only until my next service so its booked in for the renault lads to tackle the oil filter, looks like a right b**tard to get to off

cheers guys for all your replys and opinions, iam sure the tech guys down at renault say that 5-40w full synthetic is fine
ben r i have looked around and can only see 40w oils,
simon 172 is your 172 ok on 10-40w oil, like i said it semi synthetic oil
so it should be ok its TOTAL oil also i...

cheers mate, year i bought the oil today and going to do a oil change
but time beat me, its TOTAL oil semi synthetic it said it was for modern performance engines i guess i could take it back and get the 5-40w fully synthetic oil, which was a tenner more in price, i know iam a cheap skate
