Air filter / Air box mods 172, i had a mk1 golf gti many moons ago and with the standard air box someone suggested to put a few large circle shaped holes to allow more air to get in do you think this would work on the 172 with a uprated pannel filter iam talking about a couple of holes not...

my rear shocks have started to leak but that is also booked in and i managed to fiddle it under warranty which is nice but apart from that eveythings cool i have a set of clio cup alloys on the car with conti tyres which seem to be going down quite quick

checked with the renault chaps and they use 10-40w as standard its only until my next service so its booked in for the renault lads to tackle the oil filter, looks like a right b**tard to get to off cheers shorty :)
