Yeah not sure either. It mainly applies to people who don't have the original PS3 they registered with. There are plenty of exceptions though as I have a refurb model when my original one died but I didn't have to wait for a mail, just reset my password and job done.
I think VC had the best story and gameplay but I loved San Andreas simply for the stupid array of vehicles you could get. Jetpack, hovercraft, Fighterjet etc. I remember collecting all the different bikes in the garage at the airstrip along with all the good planes in the the hangar.
I'm going to pick it up again with the bundled dlc and pick up where I left off. I used to quite enjoy mucking about online pissed up late at night just on free roam. Used to have a right laugh mucking about with a load of other randoms at the airport.
Yup. Actually played the demo of Infamous and loved it but never got round to buying it so that's cool. Dead Nation is supposed to be good online co-op. I can see the usual moaners jumping on board at the choice though.
Lol at getting so wound up. It's going to take a while to settle don't you think?
I changed my password last night and it's all fine. Didn't need an email to do it.
Now, with all this PSN business a lot of people may be thinking down the Xbox route. Please don't troll, I just want to know IF I got one what can I use it for and which one to go for. I've never looked into it before.
I currently use the PS3 as my main media centre. I record and watch TV...
Why would you keep a PS3 if you hate it so much, wouldn't it make sense to sell it?
I think some services will be up and running before the weekend, at least for playing online. Looking forward to seeing what they offer when it gets going again although not looking forward to the forced update.
I like the idea that there is a huge building with hundreds of people all doing the same thing trying to battle through it all but I doubt that's the case. It'll no doubt be one specialised department. If I explained what I do in my job you would think there was a large team covering the whole...
Finally got round to playing BFBC2 single player. It's actually pretty good.
Oddly I assumed you had to be signed in to PSN to still use iPlayer etc but it all works ok.
Glad they are trying to sort it properly, I can't imagine it's an easy job.
