If you damage your bonnet and want it replacing would it be cheaper to buy a new one and get it sprayed buy a profesional(sp) or to buy a carbon bonnet?

i want to debadge my mk2 ph1 and i understant ther will be small holes left behind, i cannot afford to have it sprayed etc so im looking for a load of grommets to cover the little holes and then paint the grommets. Good idea or not? where can i obtain these grommets? cheers for any replys
