Make sure its not the upper gearbox mount for the knocking aswell.

This pretty much sums it up. Did mine today only took 2 hours to strip battery/airbox, unbolt mount, drop box, fit new mount, lift box, tighten and refit everything.

The top engine one was recently changed by the previous owner but the gearbox one has had it. Do you have links to the standard and uprated as k-tecs website is confusing lol.

Where is the best place to get these from and also the cheapest? Is it worth spending the extra for a K-Tec one?

Right the rattle has been diagnosed as a loose manifold to cat bolt and we think the knock is coming from the gearbox mount.

I need to have a look at this I have a knock (single) when I let off the accelerator and over 5k a rattle which sounds like a bolt is loose. I am guessing this is the same thing?

Anyone know how to check the gearbox mount under the battery? Mine has a knock every now and then and has developed a rattle at about 5k sounds like a bolt is loose apparently common on clios.
