    Looking to replace the R888's on the front of my Clio 200, anyone tell me the cheapest place to get some? Camskill and Black circles don't seem to stock the right size, K tec have them but they're very expensive at £188 each. Anyone know anywhere cheaper??

    yeah for sure - the Opel is a decent car with an adjustable chassis and strong brakes but the light steering and jumpy throttle pedal let it down. The clio is an altogether more serious machine for track work and the screeming NA engine is a joy to use once you've wound it up :-)

    Well you can drive it smoothly if you want to. If you're measured with your inputs you can put in some very fast and neutral laps. Provoke it a bit and it'll go though :-) Once in a slide it's much more predictable and controllable than my old Trophy.

    300 and 1080kg makes 280 bhp per tonne. With R888's and less mass to constrain, cornering and braking would be similarly impressive. Sounds like a recipe for some pretty serious performance to me :-)

    If you've ever driven an elise, you'll know that of crucial importance to it's epic handling is the supple ride. Good handling is about more than just stiffening everything up. Indeed if the 200 was any less compliant it would be too jittery for road use.

    going to the track this evening with the 200. ambient temp will be about 25 degrees. I'm on Toyo R888's - what tyre pressures should I be running? Do I need to mess about with them between sessions or can I just set them to the factory 2.4 and be done with it?

    I'm considering fitting spacers to my 200 to improve the stance. Does anyone have experience with this? Does it improve / destroy the handling? Are there any tyre rubbing issues? Will it work ok with the Toyo R888's I have fitted? Is it suitable for track use??
