Either or i can use the 1.6 hubs wi 172 brakes when transplant is done.. same length, diameter and splines on the driveshafts i believe!?

maxx gave you the answer.. what else is there to know..? if u want a loud power enhancing exhaust it'll take more than a backbox!! get a ktr tubular manifold, de-cat pipe and full system of some sort and you should get around a 15 bhp(ish) gain! (that adds up to a good few hundred quid...

that was my thoughts... that would take inlet/outlet decent exhaust system and chip n remap and you'd still be short of 160.. maybe hit 150 if your lucky!!

I have thought about the 2.0 transplant but dunno if i can take my car off the road. Would i be able to use the 1.6 16v loom or Ecu? cos if so it's pretty easy really eh.. Battery relocation and straight swap?

Hi i have a 99 1.6 16v Clio.. Not sure if i have 58mm spacing on ma front struts or not, can anyone confirm? Looking at buying suspension in the next week as one of ma struts is kaput and keeps bottoming out.. Also maybe going on the track in april s just gonna get coilys. Whats the best...

Na, not too bad. Just take them to bits and make sure the pads can move freely. use copper grease on the back of them so that they dont stick to the callipers!

sounds like pads stuck on discs to me!

take it to renault!! lol i dunno, usually wheel bearings drone and CV joints only click whet turning!!!??? Take your brakes to bitsa and have a look, the squealing could just be gathered up brake dust!

Wheel bearing or CV joint. Most likley CV joint.. Does it happen more when at lock?

Hi, Eh, what does it mean if my clio has jammed itself into 2nd gear.. The clutch still works but it made a loudish bang when changing into 2nd from first. (wheelspinning!! doh!)
