I downloaded the first two links Chris posted up, unzipped them both - one was redsnow the other aload of file .DMG files. I need the IPSW file i beilive but it wasn't in them links, i tried to find the file on the net but there all zipped up, when i unzip them same again, all DMG files

I think consoles with the HDMI (newer models) are more realiable. So a second hand 1 for cheap would be the best move if your gonna chip it. If not go for the elite ;)
