Mate, I am in the exact same position as you right now. Just took a deposit on my dynamique, he's coming to collect it next week.
have 3-4k to play with and struggling to find anything worth my attention.
-60mm front, with premium contact 2's
-40mm rear , with falkens!
with a stripped out back handling was....... interesting!! to say the least
lift-off oversteer on tap hahaha
Now my seat has been broken for some time now,
I have taken the car to renault on numerous occasions for a resolution.
Every time i have been told that i require new seat rails (£200) and fitting.
I took a deposit for the car last week so that i can go and buy another 172, but the guy...
not abusing, but will still damage an engine from cold.
due to things like insufficient oil coverage on valves,
increased crankshaft vibration, due to lack of oil,
decreased compression,
lack of backpressure/ heat, and therefore valve timing overlap could cause detonation.
come on...
it's called limp mode, it is to prevent silly unneccesary damage to the engine. You will damage your engine if you rev it from cold start, especially so on a high performance engine
can i just say
derrr
it does NOT matter at all what coilovers you get, the choice in strut will only really make a difference to height settings
the most important factor in choosing new suspension is the SPRING RATES!
does anyone know the standard spring rates for a ff172???
just the rear seats, cards and spare wheel but it still a fair few kilos
had 60mpg all week!!!
its a 1.2 16v so i dont want to spend any more money on it.
going up on pistonheads this week btw
jeez new clios are soooo high!!
i'd drive it with white wheels
anthracite always looks awesome though
try to spray just the wheels though, unless you're feeling festive
get renault to run it on the CLIP test. that's the only way you'l get an acurate fault code. Snap-on readers in general garages are usually outdated and crap.
