Clear indicators side repeater repeaters

Car  VW Potato

where can i buy proper clear side repeaters? I bought some cack from halfords they said they were for the Clio mk2, but the housing at the back was different to mine so they didnt fit. I had to take them back.

I want the right ones - anyone tell me where I can get them please?

thx,

g

are they deffo the right ones though bambam? i dont what to chip any more paint discovering i have the wrong ones...

g

Renault can sell you the clear ones that are standard on Cups I should think. A snip at £399.99 +VAT each I should think.

ow much?!! you are joking! A tenner, surely?

If they that expensive, I wrap some cling film over the base. Same effect, cost = tuppence.

got mine from Demon Tweeks - but think KTec do them as well - all I had to do was shave some of the back off and bobs yer uncle - nicer looking car! :)

so, my options are:

1) get them from a breakers.

2) buy new, but trim them

3) pay reno £39999.00

is it asking to much to have new ones that simply fit on?

Your local Renault dealer...

My new Cup came with clear repeaters on and theyre much better than the aftermarket clear ones my mate fitted to his mk1 and you cant see the orange bulbs.

Not expensive either.

Yup, you have to treat yourself sometimes!

I have k-tec ones, and its a bit of a bodge job, it may of been my fault but then they should be easier to fit :D

Renault ones are about £36+VAT IIRC - trying to remember how much the stealer robbed me of when I bought mine...

Better fit and finish than the aftermarket ones though.

id rather pay a bit more and have them fit properly - I dont want to chip the paint again, or try and force the unit home when it should just clip in nicely.

i got mine from halfords they had to order them took a few days, think i paid about 15 quid for em. but i cant really remember

Hi

All 2003/2004 Dynamique and sport models have clear side repeaters as std, and also no lock on drivers door (cost saving)!

It should be dead easy to find a pair!!

Cheers

Andy

We are now making Diamond effect side repeaters in both bulb and LED style for the Clio. These are a direct (fit properly) relpacement for standard ones and will closely match the effect in the front side indicator.

Colours available will be Silver, Black, Blue. Special colours available on request.

Price likely to be between £14.99 (bulb) and £19.99 (8 led)

It takes new levels of extreme boredom to

a) notice it and

b) take the actual f**king time to post about it.

Can some1 please give me the part number for the clear side repeaters. The man/monkey at Renault didn´t know what i was talking about.

How much less, and could you repeat the deal for me since R500+ is damn ridiculous, but this is Renault were talking about. Ive heard stories of them charging over R750 for a replacement battery

I imported my clear repeaters (can see the orange globe) but they were also much less.

I suppose I could always get clear bulbs which glow orange.

viceroy: dont really think so, too many middlemen last time, get some silver vision type globes and some for the head lamp indicators as well while youre at it. If memory serves I paid about R390 something incl. globes.
