Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
Royal Mail just delivered my new RenaultSport mats, which I bought as part of the Wests Renault group buy.
Fantastic service, I ordered/paid yesterday and they arrived today! :D
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
Wests Renault have an ongoing/rolling group buy at present; £117 for the Sabelt. :approve:
lol you're probably right. It would annoy me if it began to wear quickly, which I imagine it would.
Going from the photo Tom posted on the previous page, they look...
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
It appears the 197 wheel (without airbag I guess) is available for £155 from Renault.
Description as such;
Renaultsport steering wheel with red centreband
Ergonomic steering wheel in soft perforated leather
Renaultsport logo on satin chrome insert
Compatible with...
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
That looks great! Not made my decision process any easier, Tom :approve:
So, in that respect, the 197 is a straight forward swap! Was there anything else needed regards the airbag?
It's difficult to tell from photos if they're any smaller in size (diameter...
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
A couple of things putting me off the 197/200 wheel are apparently there's a bit that catches and from what I've read it won't auto-correct itself.
I think it will be the popular Sabelt choice, especially at that price.
I live in a hard water area too.
One of things I noticed about this muc-off stuff is that it contains water softeners to reduce/eliminate spots.
You don't generally get them on silver all that much though, so I can't say how well this works.
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
I don't think I'd bother with it unless I could find one very cheap, it's more for the convenience of swapping the cat in and out tbh.
Yesterday, after a week of hardish driving, the car was given a quick clean to get it looking good again!
I used Muc-Off...
I'm fairly certain, whichever way you decide to go with this, you'll see good results, Tom. :approve:
The RS2 being implemented with a Jenvey throttle body is a nice idea and one that interests me, however, I understand and appreciate the reasons as to why you would go down the ITB route with...
I like the exhaust hidden behind the bumper too.
I liked the idea of the group N exhaust and raspy note it's known for, however, I'm loving the sound from the de-catted SS stealth.
Good to hear another positive comment/review. I'm really looking forward to getting my RS2. Have you decided...
I'm the same, I used muc-off on mountain bikes years ago and didn't know they had started on the car market.
Yep :( It needs a good going over with a machine polisher.
The quality of that Yoz looks incredible tbh! :approve:
Your exhaust shortlist was near enough the same as mine; I decided to be boring and just de-cat the stealth. :o With yours being a weekend/track toy now, I'd be thinking the Yozza or Oreca :D
Afternoon! I thought I'd write a short review of a product I've used for the first time today; Muc-Off Ubershine shampoo.
A couple of days back I was asked by a mate to give it a go, as his place are currently/thinking about selling it.
First thing to notice, the 'subtle' bright pink...
