Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
No they didn't and actually that's something I'd completely forgotten about! I have some kicking about I think, but not enough I imagine.
Wonder if I can find polarised ones :o
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
I think I'll leave them until the RS2 is fitted, will give more room to play about with the big O/E airbox out the way.
The quality of them, upon first inspection, seems very good though :)
I'll need to have a look into what to clean them with, as they're a little...
Thanks for the kind comments people! :D
Yes, it's on coilovers. I like to think it's set at a sensible height; looks noticeably lower than standard, but it's still practical enough to get everywhere without concern.
I really rate the Wilwood setup, it really is good. The initial bite is...
I'm working next door to a police rapid response centre, thought I'd stick the full size one on just in case.
I thought about carbon blanks, but I do like the look of the silver ones; I'd hate to buy them and not look as good :o
They are indeed; stone chips and then lovely car parking...
Just a quick photo ***** session, following todays cleaning!
I set about this morning giving the car it's first proper clean in a while.

I've never used...
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project

I thought about coloured hoses, but decided the black ones will keep it nice and subtle :D
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
In retrospect, I'm pretty happy I'm sticking with the stealth and just adding the de-cat. It's saved quite a bit :)
Found a drive-past video on youtube of a stealth with a decat; sounds really good in my opinion :D
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
So update time again and yet another change of plan!
After more searching and asking questions, I don't think the Oreca group N (2 1/4" bore) system is suitable for my needs. The consensus is a 2 1/2" bore would be better suited and although Oreca do this in their...
If the group N isn't going to be suited, then I guess I'll be going with the group A; however, at that price, there's also the option of a Yozza race system.
Will be interested to see what information you get about them mate. I'm frantically searching for information regarding the bore sizes...
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
I saw a few cup racers with them and liked the contrast, thought they looked pretty good :)
Yeah, I decided on the JMS RS2 in the end! The more I read about it, the more it seemed a really really good alternative to 'bodies. That cool, are you a part of the group...
