I think it is pretty obvious that the car is not known by anyone here. I would suggest if you are seriously interested in it, that you arrange to go and see it. The guy has said that he will arrange for viewing so I would do just that if I were you.
Good luck.
Yep, absolutely brilliant. I think I will leave it a couple of weeks, then get her booked in for her laser alignment and geometry (sp) check and get my new pedals fitted. Then it will be off to the body shop to get a quote on the work to be done and get her booked in for that. Then that will be...
I normally only have a max of two people in my car too!
I have my car back now with suspension done. It doesn't look much lower at all at the moment, the suspension needs to settle abit first, then I will put pics up. ;) :D
I have her back now. When I first collected and started to drive her home I noticed she was vibrating on the steering badly. I took her down the by-pass , hit 50mph and the darn thing nearly shook herself to bits, so I took her straight back to the garage. It turns out that their other mechanic...
I understand what you are saying about not going over the top, but so far it really looks like Taylor knows what she is doing and would imagine knows only too well when it is time to stop. ;)
Your car is looking really really nice. I guess it depends on how much money you have to spend as to what to do next. If it was me I would want the windscreen sorted and the wing mirror first, then I'd probably go for side skirts, rear spolier and splitter, followed by carbon bonnet, flush...
Some people will steal anything. It really makes me mad! I swear some would even try and steal the gold fillings out of your teeth if you left your mouth open long enough, absolutely nothing is safe these days. THIEVING SCUM!!!
Sorry the thread is rather long, but my car is undergoing changes and I thought it would be nice to show it through the stages. I'm glad you like the wheels, I love them too and also can't wait to get her back so I can see what the new suspension is like. I did however expect people not to like...
Benson; If you are considering side skrts, it might well be worth you talking to Subway. I got a set from him and was extremely pleased with them and the service I got. :D
Hmm. I just called the garage. They say they have done the front but they will be at least another 1 1/2 hours with the rear as they are 'abit awkward'. Are the back ones really that hard to change? I must admit it has got me a 'little' worried now. :S
Cooool as! He is really going to 'hate' me. He just 'had' to buy his Megane after my little Clio showed his Saxo VTR up quite badly, he decided he just could not have a car that was slwoer than the Mrs car. Lmfao ;)
I am just going to phone the garage to see how much longer they will be. Tee hee.
It 'appears' that 'most' people on here think selling it standard as possible and then selling the modded parts seperatley would probably get you more money. Personally speaking I think that could prove to be abit of hastle if you have to start taking bits off to put her back to standard. It...
^^Pmsl @ Nebdingo.
I have two spiders, one in each mirror. It is amazing just how fast they can make new webs. I have come to the conclusion that they are here to stay so I just put up with them, besides if you have spiders at least you won't have nasty little flies buzzing around near your...
lmfao @ 'beat anything in the twisties'. Well, I know it can out handle my Hubbys 2ltr Megane Coupe with her standard suspension, so if these new ones are even better, Hubby will have to get his sorted or I will well and truely leave him behind. (i've got a lot of bottle when it comes to bends)...
I'm sitting here getting kind of excited about the suspension on my car now. They are working on it at the moment so hopefully I will get it back soon. I can't wait to take her for a long drive (especially round some nice country lanes) to see how much better she handles. It's a good job the...
