I have camber bolts set to max and have the AST topmounts set with + caster. So I can run more camber. I havnt set the car up on a flat floor/ scales so I don't know what the balance is like with all the weight removed. When say it rubs on the arch I mean the actual metal inner arch when the...
Thanks for all the nice comments. Might be working On the car Sunday so I'll have another update then. Might have a really early start like I did Sunday just gone!
The wiring was a mess as i was trying to go through it with a fine tooth comb. but it had gone to the point of no return aka fooooked!
My new loom with be the sh*t! :)
Havnt updated this in a while.
Started work on the car at 6:00am on sunday as i had just got back from driving my parents to the airport. I had lots to do so i moved one of the cars out of the garage and pushed the clio into it incase it started to rain like it did last sunday!

Lots of nice goodies!
Subframe and bits look great :) I found it a right pain in the ar** getting the inner ARB brackets back on, took ages! Glad my pics helped :)
That sump and aux set up looks fantastic, I hope it works :)
I can't remember if I've asked this but how's your clearance with having et37 wheels and 25mm spacers each side? My tyres rub on the actual arch. I wasn't sure if it's because my slicks are quite wide or if it's just the wide track!
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
Good Lad
Standard Cams FTW ;)
You've deffently gone for a really nice colour combo for the RS2, looks very nice. I look forward to seeing it on the car :)
I did think the scoopy things were the wrong way round for the car. The only good part of that sump is that if its thinner, as in the sump doesnt sit lower than the subframe then you can have the whole of the front of the car borded up so the air runs faster blar blar blar, you know what i mean...
Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77
But if you do that then those little bits could rust/go manky. I dont know how far Caged is from you but just drive there with the metal sleves and a new poly bush, then press the new sleve in and then slip the new...
Just saw your pics again, have you allready got rid of your AC
Well if you have then get this radiator
Its only £40 posted (around England) and quite a few people have used it.
My reccomendation would have been to order the 90mm trumpets and keep your ac as your in Dubai and it surly must get used quite a bit!
Another big reccomendation would be to buy a smaller compact radiator fan. Buy running the 90mm trumpets you have to loose the slam pannle, if you loose the...
Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77
So you getting the wishbones powder coated then tacking the metal sleves in? You'll have to scrape the coating off won't you to weld on? I got them tacked and the coated!
Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77
The company should mask it for you as they will shot blast everything first so your masking may come off. They should ask you if you want stuff masking off when you drop the bits off.
Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77
Glad my little guide helped you out, you may be able to tell I was tired as I couldn't remember what things were called lol!
With the powder coating make sure the threads inside the steering rack brackets are masked...
