need two new tyres.....£140ish set of decent alloys plus brand new tyres all round £400ish....seems like a good idea, except the to$$ers at Norwich union want another £200 on my policy for 16s and the same again for lowering it making that almost a quarter the price of the car for new...

hmm and unfortunately i found out a few months after buying the car that it had previsously been shunted from behind and the right hand flap had fallen off, leaving me with a litre and a half of water in the spare wheel well and crushed bumper mounts.....couldnt tell a thing from the outside...
