ok coming up for renewal...was previously getting shafted by churchill for over £2200 ( which was at the time the cheapest fully comp on a mk2 ph2 from passing...) but looking to change as Churchill don't allow mods until i'm 25....
cheapest so far seems to be Norwich union at £1220 fully comp...
cheers fellas i thought as much....turns out reno had used bulbs with plugs that weren't straight to begin with last time so they wouldn't twist out...needed a little help from the old pliars....lights looking top now tho :)
bluevision sidelights in.....diadem indicators in....but how the hell do i get the original dipped beams out of their socket....frightened of breaking anything if i apply too much force! have the actual light out of the headlight itself but just can't get the bulb out...help pleeeeese :S

nice kind lady at CIS just informed that me that mods such as tints are covered as are alloys, providing they are the same size as the standard wheels when they came out of the 'factory place' as changing this and lowering would change 'the shape of the car'.....bless her...strange policy...
should maybe change me avatar for the benefit of this conversation, and no i dont drive with them on, but tbh they dont blind or offend me if someone else has them on, boyracers? generally yes....but at least it makes them easier to spot and avoid! xenons do annoy me tho.....too blinding some of...

the earth's always the same as it was.....the earth for the drivers side rear lights...have since removed the amp from the back of the seats and mounted as it previously was,on the boot floor itself, with the cabling as it always was, yet there is still inteference....i get the generic high whir...
kind of long winded but here goes....
previously ran a renegade 1000w 4 channel amp to a sub and 6x9s and all was good for the previous 6/7 months....
mounted the amp on the back of my seat this week and all looked fantastic, but nothing worked....turns out i blew the main power fuse...
when i bought my 1.2 (from a lady owner) it was doing 41 mpg....now i struggle to get 35mpg....hmm mebbe i should change before that redline thingmibob.....strange tho, it costs me around £37 to fill up and other people in exactly the same car from empty claim to be full at about £34.....

silver 16v clio....they take rolls quite well it seems! i did get laughed at for taking my seatbelt off whilst suspended upside down in a seat so consequently falling headfirst onto the windscreen though....car was a write off
a little too fast round a chicane....no i wasnt driving but in the passenger seat...through a fence followed by a quick 1 and a half rolls...not a scratch on either of us...

Like Mrstabby said.....follow the bonnet release cable up to the grommet in the bulkhead...the grommet looks really tight but the actual hole in the bulkhead is a lot bigger than the rubber grommet seal, so you'l just b able to poke straight through....good look with the install!
