do they both have the same performance and air con and climate etc???
was gonna spend more money and buy a mk2, but seen a nice mk1 172 full fat y reg 32,000 miles.
any reason why I should go for a mk1 over a mk2 or vice...

is there much in it?
Im not one for caning it around bends....i like to go reasonably fast (ish) around bends, but just like to go quick in a straight line etc....say for example I was behind a 172 cup in a standard 172 and he floored it, would i keep right up to his bumper in a sraight line...
would it have air con?

Hi all.
Im 28 yrs old, been and done the BMW M3 and Impreza sti etc and need something a LOT cheaper on insurance, a little better on petrol and a bit cheaper to maintain, so I am VERY VERY seriously thinking of getting a clio 172 or 182
Are these cars resonably quick? Can they keep up...
