going to be buying a set of full poly bushes for my 172 but im just wondering if they make much difference? am going to try to do alot of trackdays next year so i want it to handle as best as it can
Picked this up last nite.. had it for what i thought was a good price and i love it, although it does need a good clean lol...
Plans are to spray the wheels anthracite, wilwood 4pot breaks, 182 style exhaust system and maybe a ktec cage
After all my threads on here about buying 172s and asking advice on certain ones iv finally bought one..
Its a 2002 Black 172, 12 months mot, had cambelt and aux belt done last october, 89,000 miles, lowered 30mm.. Payed £2600 for it and im over the moon with it.
Too dark and raining now to...
Found a 51 plate 172, in silver, completly standard with 12 months mot for £1800 but its got 114,000 miles on the clock... should i stay well clear or do you think it would be ok? looks tidy enough though
is there any point in remapping a standard 172 and will i notice much difference? I seen on the jms tuning website that they do maps for a reasonable price so would it be worth it?

I am currently selling my astra gsi in order to buy a clio sport 172 ph2 but i like the 182 exhausts so im curious if you can get a 182 style exhaust for the 172?
also, what is the different from standard, engine wise to give the 182 that extra 10bhp? cheers
