Haven't posted for a while but fully need to get this off my chest and see
what my RSport Compadres have to say on the matter. I appologise for the long read.......
Took my car in to Renault Sighthill for its 24000 mile service yesterday morning. However, before booking it in I had gone...
Hi guys,
Need to get new brakes for my 182 - TODAY - can anyone tell me what to ask for for the pads if I go to Quickfit (i.e part number or what type they are). Guy there last time said the brakes are the same as the Laguna or something - is this correct or should I bite the bullet and go...
Well I bought my 182 from RV Livingston cos they gave it to me with both cup packs for just a smidgen over £12000 which was way way better than Sighthill Edinburgh would give it to me for - they were talking 13900 or so. However - I take the car to Renault Sighhill for Servicing as they are...
I SPEND £350 per month on petrol - im Scottish and I certainly dont need an operation to remove my wallet from my said pocket.
YA WEE SLEEKIT b******s -rflol :D
Lot of stiff competition coming out now - i.e
Corsa VXR - Turbo 180 bhp 1.6
"The fastest model will be the VXR, built to take on Renault’s next Renaultsport Clio. This is expected midway through 2007 and should comfortably eclipse the 180bhp of the Meriva VXR, itself due next January."...
warp speed 10 :D
No its not about the speed I want to go its about the acceleration I want on tap at higher speeds. if you put your foot down in 5th at 70 to overtake it;s not exactly breathtaking is it.
It seems to me that lots of new cars in the clios class are coming out with turbos etc. Why is it Renault is slow to respond? I take it having a turbo in a production clio is a no go on stock models. Dont know much about engines etc but was wondering if anyone could tell me why Renault havent...
Thanks guys - definately going to write to Renault UK to complain - how can they justify not stocking a tyre for a car that they make that does not hold a spare as stock/standard ?
- I want answers
- I want justice
- I want compensation
- and most of all - I want a f**king tyre when I...
Does the trophy come with headlight washers ? I didnt think so. Climate control ? mmmm not sure about that. Cup suspension pack ????? trophy pack surely lol
I really like driving with the Michellin PE2 tyres - yeh their great however, returning from holidays last week I jumped in my car to drive from Dumfries upto Edinburgh at about 7pm at night. All is good until I get to roughly Lockerbie when I notice that the tyre feels a bit flat. so on...
If money is no object I would like a 95 clio 1.2 8v prima in red with 3 inch rims.............................Bring on the williams - bring on the 182, however I reckon it would be neck and neck with the V at least upto 2 mph
Need 2 new front tyres anyone know the cheapest price on-line and cheapest price in Edinburgh also - cos I think Renault will want me to pay them handsomely
I seem to remember a post on here months ago about Costco ??
Thanks
CANT BELIEVE THEY ARE GOING TO KEEP THE ENGNE AS A (4). Do you reckon that they will just lift the existing 4 and put it into the new car - sounds a bit like it. Its about time that we experienced a (6) in a clio sport and 6 gears to go with it! According to the mag its " forget abou the VXR"...
"what makes u think a vRS is boring and mundane,????
i the real world as fast as a clio " - That can be your little secret!
hahahahahahahaha :)
That really cheered my monday morning blues
f**king fog light has smashed i.e. the glass lense thingmy. However the bulb still works. Phoned Renault and they told me that they only come as a complete unit so replacement and fitting will cost me £86.60 - does this sound about right ?
Oh my word I ve had the 182 down to 15 mpg on two occasions now, however the average is about 32mpg when im giving it a good boot.
On both occasions (15mpg) i had been booting it the immediately hit traffic and gone 1 - 5 mph for 10 miles or so.
NOW IM LAUGHING - OH MY GOD YOURE RIGHT THE CUP IS SOOOOO MUCH FASTER, YOU PROBABLY EVEN USED A TAPE MEASURE TO WORK OUT THE CAR LENGTHS - EINSTEIN
WHAT CAN I SAY - IM TOTALLY CONVINCED - INFACT I THINK I WILL SELL MY FULL FAT LUXURY 182 AND GET A CUP ON THIS BASIS ALONE
what is the crack with the traction control - if it is switched off and you accelerate 0 - 60 without wheelspin will it be faster than doing this with Traction conrol turned on. Also, having it turned on does it sap any power from the car in general ?
Having been bored at work for the last while, I have just been on Renault.co.uk using the configurator to make a clio. I just noticed that from all the options on the standard 182 that I could pick - the only cup pack I could add was the cup spoiler pack at £170 - IS this a mistake ? So no...
you ARE missing something fantastic about Volvo estates - the V70 T5 is a sweet car to drive - so so smooth comfy and quick. I drive one every other day - both have their plus points. Above 90 and the volvo feels far more solid and powerful. Dont get me wrong Im not saying its better than the...
