I read somewhere that you have to inform the DVLA that you have had a blackout whether you were driving or not so I suppose it's possible they may suspend his licence pending medical examination or something.
You might want to change the postage offered to Special Delivery, if it gets lost you will be out of pocket as first/second class recorded only insure up to something like 30x postage cost.
She wont have to pay any excess if the accident wasn't her fault so why are they saying 20% extra on it for a courtesy car?

Get a can of air duster for cleaning computers. Hold it upside down and spray the chewing gum for about 10 seconds. This will freeze it and make it easy to peel off.
