wots the standard 172 cup to 60 again? :)

so could i add those things to a 172 without too much hassle? :) how easy would it be to get a 172 up to 200bhp without going nuts lol

Hey guys, is the engine the same in both the 172 and the 182? And if so where did teh extra 10 bhp come from? :)

oh rite cos i was under impression these only weighed 950 kg same as 106 gti? same 0-60 but with 30bhp less? confusing as to how thats possible lol

Still can't forget about this one, is it a cup beater? :) keep hearing variations on the official 0-60, anyone know wot it is?

Ar i see :) question about a former post, if the 106 will do 63 in 2nd gear, is that wot peugeot will hav done on the tests? cos presumably thats ragging the engine something chronic lol - a few too many of those and bang? no? :S

I know this is gettin onto a differnt thread but how come the saxo VTS is always quoted as bein nearly 1 sec quicker to 60 than the pug gti & yet they're essentially the same? They quote the pug 0-60 at around like 8.4 secs - my chipped diesels pacier than that! :S I want mid 7's really like...

so really its a matter of opinion lol lol yeah i know teh dci comparision was a silly one, its just cos much a i love my clio i find it a chunky chundersome car & mines the dci 100 with the dynamique thingy lol

Which has the better handling? I know the cups are meant to be good but hows the steering? my dci feels kinda vague thru the wheels whereas my old pug has excellent feedback from the wheel. Did the reno sport make fast improvements cos the pugs obviously less powerful and slower, but probs a...

IVE GOT IT!!!! Well i don't actually know wot it is, but this morning i found a way to fix it short term. If i lift the pedal upwards with my hand, the pedal makes the crack sound once more & the gears slide in easy after that! Me thinks its probs one of the plastic mountings on the clutch...

Can i remind you the 'Crack' noise comes when depressing the pedal - surely its something attached to the pedal thats causing the prob??

Was just wondering if anyone had thought of doing it really. Ive got a friend that said he'd do it if asked but obviously it wouldn't be worth it if there weren't even any slight gains to be had. So yeah just a what if really lol

Your torque figures sound low, u sure ure not on a limited map yourself? Mines running 125bhp and 190lbs /ft, and i didn't even think that was an extreme map i just asked them to get the best out of it lol does 0-60 in around 8 secs atm

Yeah, was thinkin of boring it out to get slightly greater capacity then tryin a limited torque map cos of the weaker box & focusin on upping the BHP which hopefully won't affect the box, its currently running around 125bhp but i'm being greedy really lol :rasp:

Hey ive got a prob with my dci atm. Sometimes (but not every time) when i push the clutch in to change gear theres a loud 'Crack!' that seems to come from down there & it makes it near impossible to get it into gear with the clutch fully depressed! I find i hav to really stamp my foot down on...

My clutch has been slipping pretty badly for months now & i need a competant person to change it for me without massive cost. I already have the clutch kit, just need someone in the south of england to do the work for me for less than £500 labour only lol Cash in hand :)

Honda bike engine power or car engine power? Hav heard of sum ppl fittin a Honda 1.6 VTEC engine in there for an instant 130bhp, would that put my MPG around 40? I want a quicker car that i can use for commuting as well as fun

I say that cos the remap put the torque up by around 40lbs / ft lol Dunno that the clutch is really built to take that

Hey guys, sorry if this is a a repost... I got a problem with the revs soaring when i put my foot down...(its a remapped clio dci 100...) It used to do it only when when i accellerated hard in 4th or 5th, but it now does it in 3rd & its started to worry me... Does anyone have any idea wot...
