In that case dont bother with tuning if you don't have people to help.. Order an RS tuner and load the 98ron map (everyone does it them selves so must be easy) then only run it on 98/99ron fuel. Spend the rest of the money on mechanical maintenance so it will never let you down ​

About £700 isn't it? If i were you with the spec you've already posted, I'd be getting everything polybushed, RARB, small steering wheel (personally don't like the sabelt one), then get an RS2 inlet with 197 cams set up by the guy on here who does it well (Mike at MWM???)

Turns out I cant take the track rods back as ECP have a 7 day returns policy. It's been almost 4 months, oops. Anyone know what model the 270mm track rods fit, if anything?

Thanks guys, I'll pop into a ECP branch and see what they can do.. Problem is while I had the boots off I checked for play.. There is absolutely zero play in the track rods that are on the car. So don't really need to replace them.

So, as part of the suspension refresh on my car.. I bought Lemforder track rods. Fitted most the parts a few months ago and only just got round going to fit the track rods. Turns out they are wrong!! Pulled the steering rack boot back and compared the old and new items before removing anything...

The council place is only 15 mins from me.. If I finish work in time should be able to go! Can't believe people wanna close the circuit.. Plus wasn't the track there before the residents? So they moved there knowing it's gonna be loud. It's like moving house next to heathrow airport then...

What they mean is the speedo drive ones are from 172 cups to run the speedo. Non speedo ones are for ph2 172 non cup and 182's because the abs system runs the speedo from the wheel sensors

Yeah at one point I'd turn the engine on and it'd rev at 3k elec fault light on and te throttle pedal did nothing.. No continuity through that white plug.. Clean the terminals and it worked. Just the ecu plug still has slightly dodgy connections but wiggling it sorts that! Glad to hear its...
