Ive bought the Zymol stuff from Halfords too, its nice (and smells great) but I dont know whether its better than the Autoglym stuff they sell too. But Im sure the Zymol waxes from the website is better - but expensive!

Nick, the stuff that costs £100 is a different wax than that stuff you can buy in halfords (and its also a full cleaning starter kit).

Thanks Rob, luckily I dont think the plastic bit on the back is damaged/scratched. Hard to tell as its covered in bugs/flies but will have to give it a good rub before I go to Renault. Is this something they have in stock or do then normally order them?

When I got my Silver one - March 2002 apparently the garages were taking more orders for the Red than the silver. I certainly see more silver ones about tho.

I had a 306 DTurbo (1.9) and that was nice, had a great pull too, but the biggest issue was the rev range, limiter cuts in at 4.5k and the turbo comes on about 2.5k and those 2k revs really fly in all gears. I dont know how fast the 1.4rt is but the 306 was great (for a group 4 car!)

Erm, AFAIK the PS2 is something different. Go to Renault.co.uk and customise your cup, silver is an option, also, someone else is purchasing a silver cup from a dealer on this board.

This is what I have recently done - cleaned them at same time. Ive had the contis from new and my rears were pretty new looking so I swapped em. Makes me a little worried that the rears are reasonably worn but will find out at bedford on the track :D

Id hazard a guess that Iceberg silver is only available on the clio 172s (inc. cup)

I agree, Silver is COMMON which is what almost stopped me getting silver in the first place, almost went with Red, but glad I chose silver. Trouble with a Silver cup is people might think its a 172 cup wanna-be. Oh and Dust, my reg isnt quite that (£50K for 70NY!!) I just removed a letter or two.

Im guessing the cup doesnt have auto wipers/lights and thats the difference in the 172 windscreens.
