For anyone that wants to know, the parts I linked to in the original post are just universal boots. The dedicated part isnt on the website so you need to phone them up, although its a bit more expensive. Ive just gone for the universal one, meh.

Yes. They can be ordered from Renault but its fairly expensive and takes a while for them to be delivered IIRC. Take it to a tyre place, ask if they can get them out without damaging the wheels. They might have a tool to do it or might use a chisel and nudge them round till they come out.

Anyone know which it is? I want to order it today as I am ordering a few other bits too.

I only need the boot/gaiter as it split when I caught it on the bottom arm bolt so I know it aint leaked and worn the bearings/shaft. If its split and then been driven till its dry the drive shaft will seize, then it will all need replacing.

Quick question. Are the hubs generic across the range? More specifically will a DCI hub fit a 1.6 16v? From what I can work out I think they are but I need to be sure. A simple 'yes' or 'no' will do. Thanks, Moz

Well the drill didnt go through the centre, was slightly off and I think its drilled the thread on one side. Just trying to source a new hub atm now.

Yeh I did, the disc came off with a few wacks of the mallet. But got pissed off and fucked the hub lol. Couldnt grip the bolt from the back so drilled a hole and tried to wedge something in there to undo it but it would budge. In the end I just got really annoyed and kept drilling with bigger...

Well it aint coming off. Ive been at it with a hammer too. To me it looks like the disc is held on by the hub nut. How else it it being held on? I will get at it with a hammer again tomorrow, its extremely frustrating. Everything its ive done on this car has gone wrong :mad:

Stress also. Have you go yours off yet Eddyg? This is where im at:- Should it just slide off now? Or does the hub nut also need to be off? Or do I need to drill the torx bolt right the way through? Ahhh help!

Ive got the same problem but with a little extra added. One of my wheel bolts has sheered off AND the torx bolt has rounded off. What I need to know is, do the wheel bolts go through to the hub? Or are they just to the disc? If I get the disc torx bolts out will the disc come off or will it...
