yeah but I dont think thats better than the lookers deal... indeed your monthly payments are smaller, but your mileage limit is 1k less and your deposit is ~600 more whats done is done now, if you plan on keeping it how much you pay isnt really much of an issue as long as you dont pay too much ;)

my friend has lm's on his but suits since its modded, i dont think itl suit well on a standard e46

I can understand the urge to mod and by all means do so, but avoid going down the 'project route' if you dont plan on keeping it for years to come, you will lose money anyway, with modding this figure can increase, greatly. As for ''the plan'', easier said than done and your premiums will go up...

wont your insurance be cheaper without mods? surely thats what you want? unless cosmetic mods dont affect it.
