Ive got a 53 cup, 22 with 5 years ncd and 3 points for sp30, and im paying £850 fully comp. Thats with my gf on there aswell, and shes a student.

My 53 cup is just under 7k miles in 16 months. But ive done 4.5k in 5 1/2 months.

I saw this cup in Reading thism morning on the A33 going towards the Medjeski Stadium.

I got my 53 cup with 2500 miles on 1st Nov last year for £10k, got them to throw all the goodies in (mats, full tank, 12m tax, etc)

Ill second that! If there is a car out there that can beat it for these reasons, then id go for it.

Damocup - Dont worry about it, i had the same problem with mine. They drilled them out, and replaced them. No problems and no marks.

Mine was a MK2 Fiesta in blue, £300, insurance was £600, the tappets were way out, and made one hell of a noise!

Mines got 4600 and is nearly 13 months old, only had 2500 at 10 months old, as 1st owner never used it.

I have a cup, and think its great, but i havent driven a 172 or 182 to compare it to. There are lots of extras in the 182 compared to the cup, but if you can get a reasonable cup, then go for it.

I had that done to mine when i brought it, and was fine. I was v nervous at the time, but heard that the wait from Italy was terrible. All will be fine.

My mates a renault salesman,and he tells me that they receive no end of MK1 V6s back with problems, but the MK2s are much better. Id stick with the cup personally, but if you wanna change, go for the MK2.

Im 21 4 years NCB 3 points 172 CUP £1000, With Tesco at the moment, but Elephant give very competative quotes too.

I get about 300-350 miles to the tank, depending on how i drive. Trip computer says 34-35 mpg. comparing this to a MK1 golf GTi i used to own, which was 24.1 mpg! It was only a 1.8i, but it had a rally cam.
