Ive had mine on as soon as i brought it. Had read about it before, so used it straight away.
"Never used mine. Does it stay locked when you come to a stop again i.e junction, traffic lights, cashpoint?"
No, it only de-activates if you open the door from the inside, or press the door lock...
I know people on here rave about Meguires stuff, but i couldnt warrent paying that sort of money for cleaning stuff.
I used Turtle wax stuff today and was very pleased with the results, as well as ease of use.
Bug and tar remover is great, AND removed the bird S**T problem. The Wax it Wet...
I had 2 smaller dents removed today. The guy done a cracking job.
One thing he did say is, its very hard to remove dents from the bonnet (on a clio) because they are re-enforced at the front, and have the frame around the edge (where your dent is).
Still worth enquiring and getting them to...
182 in racing blue, seen in bracknall on the round-about outside the sports centre today (25/04/05) at about 0900.
I was in my van, so you wouldnt have spotted me.
I followed **52 YZK 172 cup into Sailsbury from Marlborough yesterday, and saw another 172 cup, also 52 plate on a roundabout. This was yesterday (21/04/05)
I was in a vauxhall astra so you wouldnt have spotted me.

I think a small internal one would look better.
Cant help but think that big stickers are more of a japanese modification.
Too much like Fast and the Furious!
Hi all,
Im thinking of making 2 mods to my cup, and was wondering if anyone knew of prices/availability/possibility.
1. 182 alcantara/leather seats
2. 182 twin pipe exhaust
These are the only 2 things id change about my cup, and i dont want to go over the top, i want them to be subtle...
I have a cup, and think its great, but i havent driven a 172 or 182 to compare it to.
There are lots of extras in the 182 compared to the cup, but if you can get a reasonable cup, then go for it.
I had that done to mine when i brought it, and was fine.
I was v nervous at the time, but heard that the wait from Italy was terrible.
All will be fine.
My mates a renault salesman, and he tells me that they receive no end of MK1 V6s back with problems, but the MK2s are much better.
Id stick with the cup personally, but if you wanna change, go for the MK2.
I get about 300-350 miles to the tank, depending on how i drive.
Trip computer says 34-35 mpg.
comparing this to a MK1 golf GTi i used to own, which was 24.1 mpg!
It was only a 1.8i, but it had a rally cam.
