chances of it going tits up because the terminal overheats?
ill ring you in the morning then danny and have a chat. may have to change what i need doing if it costs to much extra
basically the terminal on the alternator is knackered, the nut just spins when i tried to undo it, the connector (wire to terminal) broke so now there was nothing conecting at all.. until i created a nice little temp bodge to get the car from work to home.
fingers crossed it starts in the morning
he said the belts have been done recently, yeah mot and tax are what put me off. ive also seen this and it also looks like a decent car

hello guys ive been having the worst day today after mine started to play up when i was supposed to be taking it to 519..

hello guys, right first off i was supposed to drop my car off to danny @519 today for cams remap and other bits which ive been looking forward to for god knows how long. went to start the car this morning and it didnt start, got it jump started and checked the voltage, it was putting out 13.6v...
Its becuase renault reccomend it, its probably to do with the agents in it that protect water ways and stuff like that, some coolant will eat away at metals
Exhaust mount gave up today and ive had to do a good bodge to get me to 519 next weekend.

Ok so what i thought was a knocking noise sounds more like a creek.
1st gear 2nd gear quick acceleration there is creeking noise coming from the nsf wheel (passenger side) changed the top mounts to rule them out. Changed a knackered track rod end. Any other ideas?
