So the car is now pissing out oil at quite a rapid rate, took the covers off earlier to get a better look and took some pictures with the phone in the hope that some of you clio gurus out there could give me a hand in identifying where exactly the leak is coming from...
You have to remove the lower hose to drain all the coolant out? I think... plus I was flushing it all out properly, it was all pretty bunged up was crap! btw what colour is the genuine renault coolant meant to be...
F**k sake just been removing a lot of the coolant pipes flushing it through, removed the coolant tank etc went to put the lower pipe back on the radiator took me 40 f*****g minutes trying to get that b**tard clip into the right place and then I got too p*ssed off, had too stop or I would have...
2 claims (1 v expensive one) 1 years NCB (?), as a named driver on 1 of parents insurance (as they might drive it more), about £1000 a year at the moment on a 1.4RT with breakdown/windscreen etc cover... asked about a valver and a RSI they wanted 308 and 229 extra respectively for a year...
First one snapped, got a replacement one, non-genuine, was stiffer and also snapped, then fitted a genuine renault one about 6 months ago if that, now it just snapped again the other day??? No signs, I just pushed the pedal down and *snap* gone!
Any ideas?
Just be glad you dont have an mk1 clio, first wheel bearing that went in mine had to be heated with a welder to get it out...
Next time just replaced the hubs, it was easier!
Oh and jus to be 110% its your wheel bearing, when its making the noise steer right, that would take the pressure...

Otherwise youd have to drill it afaik which would strip the thread and then really youd be looking at a new hub which is about 10 quid from a scrappy and takes maybe hour tops to fit...
im confused, so were they using a hand held device out the window or did they follow you, or use a stop watch?

If you are the registered keeper of the car and have been for a few months ie DVLA have your details as the owner of the car, and it isnt a hire or company car, if you dont receive a NIP in about 17 days (3 days for postage - royal mail - nuff said) then youre in the clear.
If you have a dd80 I think you either a) are most likely banned for life b) wont be driving for a while because your in jail...
as for sp60 its undefined speeding offence, whereas sp30 is speeding on a public road with a set speed limit ie not NSP afaik... the first 3 points with an sp60 or...
