putting it like that does make i seem more sensible to run 4wd, again tho how the hell do i make a twin gear linkage!? i did think of rose jointing the track rods to the subframes like you said. I do think tho that twin engining would be awsome, but i dont really have the disposable income to...
My idea was to 'simply' move the engine to the back, but 4wd would be interesting, but i dont think im 100% confident in exicuting it. which renault has an electronoic rack, didnt know there was one!? what would be the benfit of having the ABS unit tell the rack what speed to go?
Im thinking if...
i appreciate that it wouldnt handle well, it would mostly be for fun factor and to stand back and say 'i built that'. I miss messing around with cars mechanicly, especialy a mk1 as they are so simple to work on. the one thing i can see being difficult to get right would be the gear lincage...
had mine for 8 months now, ive had to replace the drivers window mechanism, had to get the cambelt done and new front brakes and a service, paid a bit much for mine considering it didnt have the above alreday done, i paid £5250 back in feb. saying that all the ones i looked at (7) were sheds or...

The rover has had a lot of work done to it, its a very tidy car, recently had a respray and refurb, hes going to change the exhaust as its a bit ummm loud, but pops and bangs like a b*****d tho. its got a full leather interior from an some other MG and millions of screens. his car is only a...
Couple of friends and I took a few photos this evening: 306 is on AVO coilovers and really shows just how laughable my clios ride hight is. The Rover was a 214 but has a 160bhp 1.8 VVc K-seires engine.
camera is Kodak Easyshare Z650 on a tripod, new camera so just getting used to it.
wheels fit in the rear arch properly, guy on here owns it, but got slated a bit much so probably gone back to his 'cruise' site, kits fitted properly tho so respect is due.
