Not at all, spoke to CocoPops and he said that it seemed people who took out the insurance were getting charged and the people who didnt were not. Tempted to order one of these up soon as people seem to like what they see when they have bought them.

paddy, it seems people are being charged £8 on top for customs charges but some people seem to be getting away with it. riplash, did you choose the insured delivery service ? Will you get away with the customs charges ?

How do you figure that out Tom ? On the Overclockers forum a guy did a quarter mile run down Santa Pod, the offical time was 19.8 and the gtechpro timed it at 19.85 ! It is only a bit of fun yes but how can you say it doesnt measure anything ? What is the point of it all then ?

These look very good. Did you order them from the link above ? What delivery method did you choose ? AIR MAIL with Optional Insurance ? How long did it take to arrive ? Any problems with customs charges ? Cracking price that, may well chuck my name down for one now.

Best bet is to try and sell the Cup private and then you have a better haggling position on the 182 IMHO.

I agree with nut, people have been paying a lot less than that for a 182. A bit more haggling is needed me thinks.

I am with you on this one Paul ! No way would I let them replace the gearbox on my brand new car ! No way ! It is hard tho as you wait so long for the car and then you get it taken away from you ! But then if you spend most of the time in the dealers with faults then where is the fun in that ?

Trail, 900 miles is not a lot and definitely not too many to be able to refuse the car. When I bought my 172 I did 300 miles driving it home on the first day so 900 miles is nothing if there is a serious problem with your 182. Are these problems because the 182 is kinda new ? I have never...

Mate, she is woman ! All she cares about is if it looks nice, she doesnt care about speed at all. I wish she would get a Williams but she wants a newer car and the Ibiza may be a little too expensive and the 106 fits the bill of what she wants.

She is looking at the Quicksilver now, the 1.4 model. She likes them so will be looking to get one in the next month or so. She drives a 106 now so there isnt any difference except this one will be newer with airbag, etc.
