Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, are there any 172s running NOS then ? If so, what system are they using ? Good results ?

Would it be setup to automatically kick in or is it activated using a button ? There is a wet kit on eBay for £350 at the moment.

Just wanted to know how safe this was and what damage it can do to your engine ? If it was used just for 1/4 miling would it do anything bad to the car ? How much are nitrous kits these days ?

I carry some wet wipes in the car with me now just in case I cannot wash it in time to make sure the bird sh*te doesnt mark it, seems to work fine for me as it just wipes off.

I had mine a few weeks back, cost £155. They just top up the levels, change the filters on the engine and the air con. Nothing major as far as I can tell. It is more to keep your warranty up more than anything me thinks ! My car definitely feels better since the service tho !

Well..... you can definitely get a MKII 172 for under £10k easily. For a 2.0 16v they are amazingly good on fuel. They come with half leather, climate control, power steering, ABS, electric mirrors, 6 CD autochanger and 1 CD in-dash and the later MKII 172 models also come with cruise...

Really ? Just the single CD ? That is a bit sh*te ! The 172 came with CD and Autochanger. Sorry for the mistake. Would have thought Renault would have improved on the spec over the 172 but obviously not. £300 for an autochanger is ridiculous !

I have the Eibachs fitted to my MKII 172 now, had them done around 3/4 weeks ago. I paid £99 inc. VAT for them. Like I said, that was only because they made a mistake with the price. Try Demon Tweeks if you want Eibachs.

That does sound TOO cheap to be honest ! I had mine for £99 and that was only because they messed up the price in the advert !

You are telling me. I travel out of my way to go to this dealer as they are a family run dealership in a tiny town in West Wales so they do take pride in their service, I wouldnt go anywhere else to be honest. Some cracking roads on the way down there too so any excuse ! LOL ! :D
