Well... it was registered on 3rd March 07 in the EU, but not in the UK until Sept 07, hence the 57 plate. He said that 'France' sees that start date of the warranty as March, so therefore mine will run out in March 2010, so he will extend it to Sep 2010 for me. Did sound like a bit of a blag...

I've test driven both this week, and have an ST so I'm impartial. I think the 182 is more fun, and would be my choice for some weekend fun, particularly a Trophy, but as a full time ownership proposition, the 197 is the one to go for. The build quality, handling, comfort, looks, grip...
