Cheers for the Elan Brazo, it's doing the job well! It will be returned, has a bit more power and a fully custom gearbox now. Couldn't do the Sarthe historic race as it kept hitting the limiter at 108mph. Now does about 130 which is just enough to get the edge. It's awesome on the Eiger track!
It's a great game. There are flaws but as a standalone racer it's great fun. If there hadn't been a GT1,2,3,4 it would be a lot better received.
It NEEDS a wheel though, no question.
Beast, changes direction well considering the size. You don't drive in that view I hope.
Tried the Zonda R in arcade mode on the long special stage with the tunnel. Absolute animal, sounds awesome on the replay at full chat.
If anyone is finished with a pick up I've got f**k all to trade, except a tuned Vitz that's a bit s**t.
What are people using in the old school car races, pre '79 etc?
I could be wrong but I don't think it's in arcade....yet. There was a vid earlier in the thread where he was caning an AMG Merc round and the tire got hot and started smoking, he'd just hit level 10.
I asked earlier if garage cars can be used in Arcade and split screen as I can't see an option...
I used to have a CD for my PS2 that you bunged in and it read it then let you play any region DVD. Tried it with the PS3 though and it told me to f**k off.
Loving this with the wheel. Went back and did all the early races again. Karting is superb, real feedback.
For anyone without a wheel that doesn't want to spend loads, this was £25. Cheaper than a f**king Dualshock. It's plastic but is an absolute bargain. Really like the paddles for gas and...
If you are online it constantly accesses the net and slows things down even in GT mode, was posted earlier in the thread. Disconnect and it'll be fine. Think they may patch it.
Tried the wheel out. Takes some getting used to. Went straight in the F40 probably wrongly, spinny spin. Tried FF cars though and got the hang of it. Do people turn down the sensitivity? After a pad for 20 odd years it's a whole new thing. Good feedback though for a £25 wheel. Sits nicely on my...
Lol, a stand is another £100 on top of a wheel. You guys have too much money or no kids. I'm going to go for that one I posted as it's the wheel feedback I'm after, I can get used to paddles. Still going to be 10x better than the pad.
