Even with the pulleys locked there is still a fair amount of torsional force through the cam. The pattern ones are usually made of ally, where as the genuine tools are made of high tensile steel.
I can't remember what size yours was cub. Mine was mounted in the cooler and was about 24mm by the time I'd finished (started at 19mm) and I was seeing 10psi @ 7200rpm on an 85mm pulley. Which was doing ~220lb-ft and 278bhp
Mine was doing 280 for a few k before the supercharger let go.
For what it's worth, I still have the old supercharger brackets and intercooler that I'll sell...
