    Yes, it's another Mk1 16v (maybe F4R) Project!

Thats what I was thinking! Who knows! :S Edit: He is on his way here now so hopefully he will be able to shed some light on it!

    F.A.O. The F4R Mk1 crew!

Number 30 is permanent 12v and 29 is switched with ignition like it should be (this is what tells the ECU the car is switched on?) ...? Edit: PM'd

Ok as it stand I have the fuel pump relay shorted and the injectors shorted (they have 12 volts on 1 side of the injector plugs) but the car will still not start? What about voltage at the coilpack?

Ok, 39 and 68 clicked and the fuel pump kicked in, 8 and 38 didnt.... When they are clicking, what terminal should they be giving power to? Edit: I just shorted out the fan relay plug and it fired the fan up, I think my relays are screwed.....Should I just buy 4 new relays? Also what does...

Ok, so If I have 12v switch live at the relay blocks but they are not switching what does this mean? Btw when I checked the relays last night the terminals were corroded as if water had got in. I cleaned them up and they worked for a few mins then stopped working. Is it worth buying new relays...

    F.A.O. The F4R Mk1 crew!

A picture would be great! I will message you tomorrow to remind you! (I am desperate). As for the immobiliser being at fault, I thought that aswell, but earlier on with aload of filling around I got those relays to click on and off but now they wont do it anymore :( This loom is truly baffling...

Here is a pic of the only relays and fuses that came on the 172 loom, is this all the 1's I need or am I missing anything?

Should I have voltage at coil pack with ignition on but engine not running?

I am trying to locate what my non-starting problem is on my car, I have a feeling it is the ECU immobiliser kicking in. When I turn the ignition I have no power to fuel pump and no spark when I crank the engine over (the starter motor works fine) . I was thinking that perhaps even with the...

Unlocked and emulated F4R ECU - Will this still run in a 172?

Basically I had my ECU unlocked and an emulator fitted for my Mk1, but the car will not start and I am thinking the ECU is at fault. Would I be able to test it in a standard 172? The immobiliser pin on the ECU has been removed so the 172 key wont be able to send a message to it but the...

    Yes, it's another Mk1 16v (maybe F4R) Project!

Currently I am having problems getting it started. I have connected up all the wiring as it should be, but when I turn the key, the starter turns the engine over but the fuel pump is not priming/runing and also I am sure there is no spark. I am thinking it is immobiliser related, possibly the ECU.
