It will require a jig at the very least. You should ideally buy a new slam pannel. Unfortunantly with it being front open for the bonnet, it usually gets pushed back. I had all sorts of problems getting it through the MOT cos the headlight aim was too low, even though it had been jacked out. You...
I get one every day after work! but thats either since i had my front suspension on the left replaced and created a faulty earth or since I started working in an office with carpets and it just built up!
f**kin terrible. I bet youd like to cut their heads off but you dont think about it at the time because your in shock. What are the pig doing about it? they can identify the make/model from the paint left on the side of your car and can pin point cars of that type in the area if they are local...
cant find my reciept but it was about 90 quid for the alloy, 90 for a premium tyre and £25 for a center cap. So, £205 each from the main dealer but obiosly you can get a cheap tyre for 40 or 50 notes.
It does have var power steering doesnt it? Its a bloody pain in the ass. Have to fight the wheel all the time when at speed. Mine also becomes unstable at 120 and braking over 100 tends to make it pull to the side a bit. Pot holes and puddles are also a pain cos the steering goes funny and feels...
it was £90 a pannel at the main dealer when I went last. I used the offical renault touch up paint and it didnt look too bad with a bit of effort. If you really have to spray it, then wait a bit because the bonnet is a magnet to stone chips/scratches/tar/splatted bugs.
Theres only really a seat leon or ibiza thats similar, which devalues like mad from new (so you should pick it up cheap) and the is built on mainly VW components. A golf or lupo is another possibility but will cost a bit.
Well, my 1.4 16v drinks like a horse. Was 28.1, now 28.5. I might aswell have the 2l and get the performance out of it. Your all using optimax, right? Bloody shot up to 85p...was 79.9, then 81.4 before.
I have heard mixed views regarding renault leeds. They appear to be ok in selling you the car but when it comes to repairing it, people have had to take it back time after time cos they didnt do the job properly in the first place. Take it to another reno next time.
thats why i always look over my shoulder. too many people rely on mirrors. Not a total loss at least, but you learn from experience and next time youll be more careful.
anyone know where I can get one of those black fabric renaultsport sun blind thingy for the rear window? It looks like a large version of those you stick to the windows with suction pads but without pads and says renaultsport in white across it. Any ideas? seen it on a 172.
Yes, the second gear is something like 60mph which can help in a race! yeah the steering is f**king heavy! esp when your ragging it and vairable power steering makes it worse. Nice to know other peoples it like that. One worrying thing tho is when you go over 120mph and brake - it slides to the...
you should see the 4 door version. even narrower. Apparently its meant to stop you doing it when the engine is on because obviously its red hot and the fan could kick in and rip your hand off.
maybe at speed, but not on the good old mpg. when you go over, 120 the car seems to become unstable. yes they are faster than what people think but is nothing compared to an rs 2.0 or williams.
count yourself lucky. I get 28.2mpg. Anyone would have thought that i have a v6 or summat. Yeah, ive been upto 126mph on the speedo and not hit the limiter, so god knows what its actual top speed is.
theyve got nothing on you and they know it - thats why they wont show you this video - so ask to see it before signing anything. The camera on the cop car only works if they are at a constant speed ie striaght 100mph because it is based on time and motion - how many frames passed per second; So...
nothing you can do really. Ive tried everything from t-cut to window cleaner, to window polish and autoglass etc wont touch em! there is a company that does it but i cant find the web site.
