If the warranty specifies that the service must be done by a dealer, then that is that. And they will piss you about if you dont.
I have heard of block exemption, but the warrenty "must be serviced by official dealer" statement overides this (must be Renualt trained mechanics for example)...
This is turning into a bike/car vendetta.
When I was younger I rode round in the winter and enjoyed the best of the summers.
Now Im older I dont do the winter.
But to be a real biker you have to experiance the whole thing at least once.
I dont drive my car as a winter substiute, if I...
Check the warranty paperwork with the car, it should explain what is covered and how over the various years.
I will check mine tonight. I know certain things like inside trim arent covered after the first year etc, but it clearly states Manufacturer 3 year warranty so I doubt that you would...
Funny how 182 owners b**ch about the cup all the time. I guess there just pissed off they didnt manage to pick one up in the first place.
182 Better, with those wheels, do me a favour !!!
Cup is still 3 BHP up on power to weight ratio
V6 Because its mid engined rear wheel drive.
It also looks fantastic and its quicker than the RS etc
I do like the RS, but front wheel drive isnt the best and the colour is a bit purple looking
Regular fuel 95
All super unleaded fuels are 97
Optimax is the only fuel thats 98
Old four star was indeed 99 and if your old enough to remember 5 star fuel, that was in excess of 100 just like japan still has
If you cant notice a difference with the higher grade fuels then your car just...
Im doing it as good natured fun
People have been getting far to wound up over this 182/Cup thing
If I hadnt bought a cup I might have considered the 182 in renault racing blue with stripe.
That appeals to my classic car interests. What colour is yours Tomclio182
This should stir things up a bit
I read the Evo article last night, interesting how the 182 is suddenly faster than the cup without it actually being involved in the test.
If we are going to assume this is a faster car because it did a better 0-100 test on this occasion, then that would...
I agree about the power of a cup with CC.
But I disagree with the idea that a 182 will depreciate less than the cup?
I have dealt for many years with classic cars and the one thing that gives a car rarity and desirablity is the homolagation of a car and its limited numbers.
I guarantee...
The cup will hold its value better over the long term because its a homologated car.
The 182 is a nice car but it is not going to be remembered as anything special when the new model comes out.
Depends what you want, toys or some rarity ? They only sold 2500 thats half as many as the RS...
It is worth checking to see if they work with the cup set-up as this increase in tyre width would effect the rolling radius.
Only for those who worry about .2 to 100 mph races with 182s
Just as the cup will in the long term hold its value better over the 182 as a true classic, as it was a homolagation special regardless of the numbers sold (roughly 2500)
If you get a 182 with the Gordini style stripes, this to will have a certain limited number appeal which in the long run...
So you think your back seat weighs in at around 60 KG
Not likely.
The cup had to remove a lot more than the wheel as we all know including having thinner glass etc
